Working in many areas of property development over the last 20 years has given me an enviable edge over my competitors. This edge, combined with grit, good humour and a love of turning houses into homes, is what fuels my desire to give you the absolute best. As an independent property stylist based on the East Sussex/Kent borders I specialise in the staging, refurbishment and decluttering of properties for sale, rental and holiday lets.



Staging Spaces offers a professional  staging service. A proven technique to enhance the property’s appeal to the highest number of potential buyers in order to sell the property faster and at the highest price. Our staging service is also a fabulous way to ready a property for the rental or holiday let market.

Property refurbishment and Interior Design

Staging Spaces also specialises in the redesign and decoration of properties, ready for holiday letting and short term rental markets – from the initial consultation to discuss the client’s concept right through to redecoration, lighting requirements, furniture, soft furnishings and property management recommendations. 

Property sourcing and viewing
A service in great demand for overseas buyers and those with busy schedules. I can help source properties from both the sales and letting markets and view properties on your behalf. I’ll conduct a video tour, compile a full written report and can also offer a full furnishing service ready for occupation or letting.

Project Management

Emma personally project manages every project she takes on, meaning that she is on call or on site regularly until the project is delivered. Visiting sites to ensure that progress is continually made is a crucial aspect of the service offered. Updates are also given regularly to clients so that they are kept fully updated of the progress being made.

Many developers see their role as a 9-5 proposition. Staging Spaces is a 24/7 full-service company that will work for clients when the work needs to be done.


Emma is a trained interior designer who, once briefed by clients on their wants and needs for their homes, can be trusted to take that information forward and reflect it accordingly throughout the project.

A client sought a 4-bedroom eco-home in Brighton that could be project managed while the clients remained abroad and refurbished, redecorated and fully furnished throughout, ready for the owners and holiday lettings. We wanted to sell our house in Sevenoaks and decided that it would benefit from a fairly thorough refurbishment if it was going to sell quickly and at the right price.

Since we were out of the country, we needed someone to manage the project and we asked Emma to take care of this. Work included decoration, plumbing, rewiring, re-carpeting, roofing and other structural work.

The work managed very well, with a very good quality of workmanship at the right price, and we were delighted with the speed at which we were able to sell the house once the work was completed. We ended up with a very good return on our investment.
